ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: Create stunning artwork in the state shape of your choosing using dried pressed flowers and leaves. Led by expert instructors, you'll be guided through each step to craft a beautiful masterpiece.

No artistic experience necessary! With easy-to-follow instructions and all materials provided, including dried pressed flowers, glue, paintbrushes, and a stencil - you'll leave with a unique creation you'll be proud to display.

All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own pressed flowers to personalize your artwork. Just remember, flowers must be dried in advance as we won't have the means to dry them during the workshop.

THE DETAILS

Studio Rental: $295 (Weekdays), $395 (Weekends) - includes 2-hour studio rental. Pressed flower workshop included. A $75 charge will be applied for each additional 30 min.
Pressed Flower Workshop: Includes dried pressed flowers, glue, paintbrushes, state of your choice stencils, and guided step-by-step instruction.
Flowers: Pressed and dried flowers are included, but you may bring your own dried pressed flowers to personalize your artwork at no extra charge.
Workshop Time: This workshop is 2 hours of creative fun and artistry!

Q: Can I take pictures and videos during the pressed flower event?
A: Absolutely! Capture the creative process and share your experience on social media. Follow us now so you don't forget to tag us - @chucklou.stc

Q: Can I bring my own decorations for a birthday party or special occasion?
A: Yes, but do keep in mind the 2-hour time limit for the booking. Contact events@chucklou.com to add an additional 30 min to your booking to allow for decorating for your event should you need it. Adding 30 min to your booking will be an additional $75. 

Q: Is there a recommended group size for pressed flower events?
A: We can accommodate group sizes from 2 - 14.

Q: What if my group has more than 14 people in it?
A: To accommodate groups larger than 14, additional workshops will need to be booked. 

Q: How does the pressed flower workshop work?
A: We provide all the essentials – dried pressed flowers, glue, paintbrushes, and state of your choice stencil. You create your design, and we guide you through the process step-by-step.

Q: How long does the pressed flower workshop take?
A: 2 hours

Q: Is the pressed flower workshop messy?
A: It is a relatively mess free activity, but we recommend wearing comfortable clothing you don't mind getting a bit of glue on.

Q: Are the materials safe?
A: Yes, the materials are glue and dried flowers. 

Q: Can I bring something other than flowers, like leaves or grasses?
A: Yes! We encourage creativity, so feel free to bring dried leaves, grasses, or other plant materials.

STUDIO SPACE AND FACILITIES:

Q: Will the studio be open to the public during my event?
A: The studio will be closed to the public. However, the shop space at the front of the store will remain open to public shoppers.

Q: Is there a restroom available in the studio space?
A: Yes, we have restroom facilities available.

Q: Can I tour the studio space before booking an event?
A: Absolutely! Contact us to schedule a studio tour.

Q: Is the studio space air-conditioned or heated?
A: Yes, but we do keep the door open at the front of the store most days to attract customers into the retail space located at the front of the store.

Q: Is the studio space wheelchair accessible?
A: Absolutely, the studio is wheelchair accessible. At the front door, there is a small ledge that could be difficult to cross over.

It's important to note that being in the historic district of St. Charles means navigating cobblestone streets and sidewalks, which could pose challenges. Feel free to reach out for more detailed information or if you have specific requests.

Q: Are there accommodations for individuals with mobility challenges?
A: Participants may be seated throughout the workshop. Seating can be provided for guests who need it.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE:

Q: Can I bring my own food and beverage for the event?
A: Absolutely! You can bring your own catering or snacks at no extra charge. 

BOOKING AND PAYMENTS:

Q: How far in advance should I book the studio for an event?
A: It's recommended to book at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance, especially for peak times. The earlier you book the better.

Q: What payment methods do you accept for bookings?
A: Follow the prompts to check out and reserve your space through our website. Full payment is required to secure your reservation.

Q: Is there a booking fee or deposit required?
A: Payments must be made in full to secure your booking.

Q: Can I reschedule my event after booking?
A: Depending on availability, rescheduling may be possible. Contact us as early as possible if you need to make changes. A $50 rescheduling fee will be applied.

Q: Can I cancel my event after booking?
A: We understand that things come up. You can cancel your event up to 31 days before it’s scheduled, incurring a $50 cancellation fee. Just shoot us an email at events@chucklou.com to cancel. Unfortunately, cancellations within 30 days of your event do not qualify for a refund.

Q: Are there any hidden fees in the booking process?
A: No hidden fees. All costs, including optional add-ons, will be transparently communicated during the booking process. Your booking fee covers the workshop materials and instructions for up to 14 people.

DRESS CODE:

Q: What should I wear for the pressed flower event?
A: We suggest you wear comfortable clothing. Aprons will be provided, but you may get a bit of glue on your clothes.

SAFETY:

Q: Are the materials safe for children?
A: Yes, our materials are safe for participants of all ages. Adult supervision is recommended for younger participants.

Q: How old do children have to be to participate in the pressed flower activity?
A: We suggest 10 and up. Adult supervision is recommended for younger participants.
