SWEETS

Every treat is almost to pretty to eat. Almost. If you are looking for a show stopper to impress your friends or just want to appreciate art and eat it too, this is your spot.

SUGAR AND SLICE

A charming gem born out of passion and dedication.

Founded by Lydia Allen at the age of 15, this delightful bakery offers a delectable assortment of cookies, cakes, macaroons, and more. Experience the warmth of their beautifully renovated storefront on Historic Main Street St. Charles, where every treat tells a story of perseverance and creativity.

The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and always has the best suggestions and pairings. The Böen Pniot Nori is our favorite and get the Bela Bonfire for some delicious entertainment.

THE WINE CAFE -
703 S Main St.

Fantastic selection of wine and cocktails. Go big and with the Deluxe Pretzel Board, it's my go to for sharing with a big group. Sit outside no one of the best patios Main Street has to offer. Check in for the Wine +Yoga and other weekly events.

CORK AND RIND -
555 1st Capitol Dr.

Wine bar meets cheese monger, your one stop shop to pick up a bottle of wine and some artisan cheese or pull up a chair and enjoy a glass of wine and a bit. Everything on the menu is a hit!

BEER

GOOD NEWS BREWERY -
1121 N 2nd St.

New to Frenchtown, Good News doesn't just serve great
beer and wine, they have
the best pizza in St. Charles. My go to is the Vampire Death Wish paired with the Local 636 Hazy PIA.

A perennial favorite,
Schlafly Bankside offers loads of
seating for big parties and a large bar if you're just want to enjoy a great beer while watching the game.

TWO PLUMBERS -

Everything in on the menus is incredible. My top three,
the Breakfast Tacos, Breakfast Sandwich with bacon on a biscuit, and the Huevos Rancheros.

LA BELLE VIE-

A new and welcome addition to
Frenchtown, La Belle Vie has become a fast favorite with the locals. I go for the Figgins Breakfast while my husband's favorite is the Lake Bake.

SALT AND SMOKE -
501 S Main St.

If you're in St. Louis and craving some mouthwatering barbecue, look no further than Salt and Smoke – it's our absolute go-to! Trust us, everything on their menu is a winner, but the brisket steals the show. And if you want a taste of authentic St. Louis goodness, you can't miss their toasted ravioli – we lovingly call them "Toasted Ravs." It's the spot for the ultimate combo of smoky perfection and local flavors. Your taste buds will thank you!
